The Rockingham City FC hosts teams across all ages and most leagues from MiniRoos, Juniors, NPL and divisional pathway teams, Senior NPL, Sunday leagues both Ladies and Amateurs.

In the early 70s, the club was known as Rockingham United and played at City Park oval, across the road from the Rockingham Hotel. The club moved to a new facility at Dowling Street in the late 70s, calling it home for nearly 30 years. In 2007 Rocky FC played their last game at Dowling Street before moving to the purpose built SafeRad Stadium at Lark Hill Sportsplex, Port Kennedy WA, in 2008.
