Noosa Women’s Shed is a community-based organisation providing a safe, inclusive and supportive space for women to learn practical skills, build confidence and connect with other women. Founded in 2017 from the vision of Anne and Fiona McComb, the Shed was created to help women develop tool-based skills, foster independence and feel empowered to take on hands-on projects and home maintenance tasks. Its motto, “Share, Learn and Make,” reflects the focus on practical learning, friendship and community connection. Noosa Women’s Shed promotes wellbeing, confidence and lifelong learning while strengthening community ties across the Noosa and Sunshine Coast region.
