I really like this facility — it’s clean, safe, and secure. However, for first-time users, it can be quite confusing because the instructions aren’t very clear. So here’s a simple step-by-step guide to save your time: 1. You have to understand, this is a fully automated self-storage system 2. First, make a reservation - phone them, complete the payment, and confirm your unit 3. Download the app - “Store Local” 4. Create your account in the App ( email id and Password ) 5. Complete the ID ( Liscence/ Passport ) verification process in the App 6. Once verified, you can use the app to access the facility. ⬇️ Important Things to Know While using the App, make sure your phone has: * Internet ON * Bluetooth ON Then, 7. Open the app — you’ll see multiple options like: * Open rolling gate * Close rolling gate * Access upstairs etc … 8. Use these controls in the app to enter and move inside the facility 9. Place your items in the unit 10. Bring your own padlock to secure it That’s it! I’m sharing this because I personally spent 2 hours figuring it out as a first-timer. I had to call customer service multiple times, it was annoying but still learned new things. If you’re new, just follow these steps — no need to waste time like I did 👍 🕊️✌️

Required small storage unit close to home. Did some research on-line with assistance from Google & found StoreLocal Port Kennedy, WA. Spoke with Lawrence & everything was organised promptly & efficiently. Moving belongings in was straightforward, flatbed trolleys available for customer use. StoreLocal Port Kennedy is by far the best storage facility I've ever leased space from. From the user friendly app to access your space, manage your account or to get in touch . I had not one problem the whole time and I will 100% use StoreLocal the next time should I need to store anything again. The drive-thru convenience and Dolley trolleys for getting your belongings from the car to your unit makes it a breeze.

Easy to Navigate ( assistance of 24/7 costumer service for a quick question I had on arrival ) . All information sent via email or within app, question answered quickly and easily over phone. Very easy to locate and access.

After a disappointing start on day 1, due to no access and not able to get in contact with the support team, access and app issues have now been resolved. Thanks Team :)

I'm leaving 5* to StoreLocal Port Kennedy (SL PK) with notes below to fix/improve. At the time of writing this review, I found SL PK storage building a relatively new 24/7 store-your-self facility that's very clean, modern, has many storage available in different sizes, competitive monthly rate, relatively secure and relatively easy to use. Once you past the 1st visit, the next is a breeze. Tips for 1st time user: -Bring with you a padlock -Expect not to see a staff onsite -If you need to call a staff for urgent assistance, be prepared to call more than once in case your call gets to auto message. -Flat bed trolleys are available free to use for moving stuff in and out of storage unit. -App is not a must to install but I find it really is helpful as it's got some useful features: our storage unit#, unique code to enter/exit the facility, location/address and direction to the building, inside map of the facility with our storage unit marked to help finding it and message form to contact staff for assistance. -To enter/exit the building use the app (needs to be close enough to the boom gate to receive the signal) or tap manually the key pad on the wall with our unique code. PRESS HASH (#) after the code, or it won't work. -Once in the building, to access storage units that are on the ground level (unit# starts with G) and behind the secure sliding doors, again manually enter the unique code on the key pad next to the doors. -Access to units on the 1st and 2nd floor (indicated with storage unit# begin with 1 or 2) is from lifts behind the secure sliding doors. To use the lift, again manually enter the unique code THEN press the floor level. -The facility is very well lit (has motion sensor lights, I believe). So I can access my storage unit at night without problem. Notes to fix/improve: -Instructions to access the facility & storage unit is not clearly indicated in the app. I don't think it has one. -The app most of the time not getting the signal when exiting the building (even next to the boom gate) -Cars can go in and out of the building without the unique code by tailing the car in front. I understand this is not easy to resolve. Because of this, I think the storage units before the secure sliding doors are the least secure in the facility.

I initially had problems using the App to access the Port Kennedy facility, but I found the admin staff (only a phone call away) to be exceptional with their patience when dealing with my queries. I am extremely happy with the storage unit that has been assigned to me, and the freedom to access it whenever I want to.

24/7 remote access. Looks to be secure facility with cameras, login access only. Move in was fantastic. They have a lot of flatbed moving trolleys that made relocating everything very easy. Customer support are available 24/7 as well. Entry door not working during the move in, which caused the using of twice the amount of fuel being used and twice the distance requiring to be covered. Had a 20ft shipping container delivered accross the road near the front entrance. Apart from that, very happy with the facility and services so far. (Real customer name withheld for security reasons)
