The Southport Soccer Club is a proud Gold Coast football club based at Ashmore Park, Ashmore. Founded in 1976, the club has grown into one of the most successful football clubs on the Gold Coast and celebrated its 50th anniversary this year. The club provides playing opportunities from junior football through to senior men’s and women’s teams, supporting players from their first touch through to competitive football. Its junior pathway includes MiniRoos from Under 6 to Under 12, competition-age teams from Under 13 to Under 16, and girls’ teams from Under 12 to Under 16. Southport’s senior men’s program has a strong history of competition in Football Queensland Premier League divisions, while its senior women’s program supports the growth of the game in a fun and competitive environment. The club has built its culture around player development, teamwork, fitness, self-esteem and a love of football.
