There's not much to say about a self storage facility, you put your stuff in a room and lock it, which StoreLocal does well.
BUT, the reason I'm even bothering writing this review, is because their support team has been a solid 10/10 every time I've needed to call them.
- I called with a billing question, the guy I spoke to was super friendly, solved my problem, and even gave me some tips on some upcoming deals.
- I called because I got locked inside the gates, because I didn't realise they shut off after 9pm. The call was answered within 2 rings, the lady knew my name (I assume the system told her, but still a nice touch), and she had the gate open in<30 seconds.
- Some crackheads got into the facility, and cut the locks on a few units. Ours was one of them sadly, but, they called us the next morning, explained what happened (they tailgated someone inside), explained that they saw on the CCTV and called police (who caught them), and gave us a significant discount on that months bill. Nothing of ours was stolen (or I would have asked for at least a few months free), we just needed to replace the lock, but I think this was handled really well.
