SUPPORTING RUGBY’S FUTURE: STORELOCAL PARTNERS WITH THE NSW WARATAHS
StoreLocal solid in support of NSW Waratahs
We are pleased to announce an interstate expansion of our support for the Super Rugby Pacific competition, as we become the Platinum Partner of NSW Waratahs Men’s and Women’s teams for the next three years.
This partnership extends our support of rugby nationwide; we are also proud partner of the Queensland Reds and Naming Rights Partner of the Queensland Rugby Union Hospital Cup and Queensland Women’s Premier Rugby club competitions.
StoreLocal Chief Executive Hans Pearson says the expansion of our rugby commitment reflects its increasing reach across the Australian market.
“Following our recent Sydney expansion with the opening of new stores in the Western Sydney market, StoreLocal is excited to partner with the NSW Waratahs men’s and women’s teams for 2025-2027,” Pearson said.
“We look forward to the NSW Waratahs proudly sporting StoreLocal jerseys as the club rebuilds toward a bright and promising future kicking off in just a few months in February 2025.”
StoreLocal’s partnership with the NSW Waratahs men’s and women’s teams that are preparing for the 2025 Super Rugby Pacific and Super Rugby Women’s competitions also reinforces their support of rugby at all levels of the game.
“This partnership extends our investment in rugby union over many years at the grassroots and professional levels,” Pearson said.
“We have confidence in the outlook for Australian rugby as it looks forward to a Golden Decade that includes the 2025 British & Irish Lions Tour, home World Cups in 2027 (for men) and 2029 (for women), and a home Olympics in 2032.”
Rugby Australia Director Commercial and Marketing James Durbin welcomed StoreLocal’s three-year partnership.
“We are privileged to have StoreLocal commit as a partner, especially for the length that they have,” Durbin said.
“We see it as a belief in the NSW Waratahs as a brand and beacon for not only sporting values, but community values as well.
“That StoreLocal are supporting the men’s and women’s NSW Waratahs teams shows they share our commitment to develop both men’s and women’s rugby at all levels.”
